2018 Young Authors Conference
Each year students across Madison County compete in the Young Authors program. Students in grades Kindergarten through 8th write books which are then judged in their local schools. The winners from each school are invited to attend the Madison County Young Authors Conference hosted by the Madison County Regional Office of Education. During the conference students have the opportunity to share their books with their peer groups, participate in literacy based activities and hear a keynote speaker. Each student is presented with a certificate by the Regional Superintendent of Education, Dr. Robert A. Daiber. The students' families are invited to attend the keynote speaker and presentation of certificates.
If your child has been selected to attend the conference you will be contacted by his/her school with complete details for attending. Any questions regarding the Young Authors program or your child's participation should be directed to your child's school.
